Born in Paris France, Pierre Noizet moved to the US in 1997 to play college golf.
In December 2003, Pierre received his MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas where he was the golf team MVP for two consecutive years.
In 2004, Pierre met Marius Filmalter (and the SAM Puttlab) at the Hank Haney Golf ranch in McKinney, Texas and has been giving putting lessons ever since. Together with Marius, they were the first to mathematically define the characteristics of a good putting stroke. With many days at PGA Tour events, Marius and Pierre collected the most comprehensive database of professional putting strokes in the world.
In 2006, Marius and Pierre published the results of their research on the yips which proved the validity of the techniques they developed to combat them.
GOLF Magazine awarded Marius the “Innovator of the Year” in 2009. A long overdue recognition for his contributions to the golf industry. And in 2011, GOLF Magazine wrote a cover story on Marius describing him as “…the man who will change the way you putt for good.” and in which Pierre had an honorary mention.
In 2013, with more than 10 years of experience as a putting researcher and instructor, Pierre opened his private studio in Arlington, Virginia and named it the Putting Chateau.
