Originally from Paris, Pierre Noizet came to the U.S. in 1997 to play college golf and later earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, where he was a two-time Golf Team MVP.

In 2004, he began working with renowned putting researcher Marius Filmalter and SAM PuttLab at the Hank Haney Golf Ranch. Together, they were the first to mathematically define the components of an elite putting stroke, building the most comprehensive database of PGA Tour putting data ever collected.

Their groundbreaking research on the yips was published in 2006, and in 2009 GOLF Magazine named Marius “Innovator of the Year.” In 2011, Pierre was recognized in the magazine’s cover story on the future of putting.

In 2013, Pierre opened The Putting Chateau in Arlington, Virginia, where he continues to help golfers of all levels improve their putting through a data-driven, Tour-tested approach.
